The upcoming Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD) will place a strong focus on the opportunities of artificial intelligence and how it is reshaping the future of manufacturing.
Europe’s leading industrial decision-makers will gather in Tampere on June 4–5, 2025, as MPD takes place for the ninth time. The theme for the 2025 edition is “Manufacturing in the Age of AI”, and the event will explore how artificial intelligence is influencing and accelerating the transformation of the manufacturing industry.
MPD brings together top-level executives, technology leaders, industry experts, and solution providers from around the world. The speaker lineup represents the forefront of European industrial expertise.
– This is a unique platform where decision-makers discuss where the industry stands, where it should be heading, and how AI is expected to shape those developments. We are proud to welcome some of the most respected experts in the field, says Harri Kulmala, Operative Co-Chair of MPD and CEO of DIMECC Ltd.
Among the distinguished speakers from Germany are Professor Thomas Bauernhansl, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) and the Institute of Industrial Manufacturing and Management (IFF) at the University of Stuttgart, and Rainer Brehm, CEO of Factory Automation at Siemens Digital Industries.
