MAKE in Finland powered by DIMECC was the Main Partner of Subcontracting Fair 2026, held in Tampere on 29 September–1 October. The three days brought together the Finnish manufacturing industry to exchange ideas, build new connections and discuss how collaboration can strengthen growth and international competitiveness.
DIMECC had a strong presence throughout the fair, both at the stand and on the Main Stage. The programme highlighted some of the key themes shaping the future of manufacturing: stronger industrial ecosystems, resilience across the value chain, better use of data, sustainable growth and emerging technologies.
Main Stage discussions featured experts from companies including Wärtsilä, Promeco Group, Beckhoff Automation, Sandvik, Kesla, DHL Supply Chain, TT Gaskets, Konecranes, Fastems, Nokia, Delta Cygni Labs, Mirka and many others. Topics ranged from collaborative data integration and resilient supply chains to XR technologies and new opportunities for industrial growth.
A special MAKE side event also brought together industry leaders and decision-makers to discuss industrial policy, strategic competitiveness and international growth, with a keynote by Finland’s Minister of Economic Affairs Sakari Puisto.
Thank you to all our partners, speakers and everyone who stopped by to meet us. Three busy days once again showed what MAKE in Finland is all about: building the future of the manufacturing industry together.
