Hennum brings extensive experience in leading and developing innovation clusters and networks.

Martin Hennum has been appointed Cluster Leader of Mmile, a Norwegian innovation cluster focusing on mobility, maritime and logistics. Mmile is one of DIMECC’s six Nordic innovation clusters, which bring together industry, research and innovation partners.

Hennum brings extensive experience in leading and developing innovation clusters and networks, with a particular focus on the internationalisation of industry and technology in the maritime and energy sectors.

He has worked at the intersection of business, public authorities and research and innovation organisations, building collaboration across sectors and national borders. His international experience includes working and studying in France, Belgium and Germany, with particularly strong professional networks in France and Germany.

Throughout his career, Hennum has combined strategic leadership with hands-on experience in developing innovation ecosystems. He has also developed and implemented competence development programmes for more than 50 clusters and networks in Norway.

“I am really looking forward to taking on this new position, building an innovation cluster for the development of autonomy, mobility, maritime and logistics. This is something that really motivates me, and I am looking forward to working together with the rest of the DIMECC team!” says Martin Hennum, incoming Cluster Leader of Mmile.

“Mmile aims to drive systemic change by developing new, more efficient transport chains. By leveraging the latest technological advances and bringing together expertise across sectors and national borders, we want to create new opportunities for innovation and collaboration in Europe. We are delighted to have Martin Hennum leading this work with his extensive experience,” says Eja Tuominen, CEO of DIMECC.

Hennum will be based in Oslo and take up his new position at the beginning of 2027.
